The future of Soho Walk-In Centre – Have your say

In early 2020, Central London CCG are seeking the views of the public and stakeholders on the future of the NHS Soho Walk-In Centre. This is in response to changes to national guidance issued around urgent and emergency care.

The NHS Soho Walk-In Centre, located at 1 Frith Street, W1D 3HZ, is commissioned by NHS Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The service is a nurse-led service and operates seven days a week; open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 8pm on weekends. Central London Community Healthcare currently provide this service.

National guidelines issued by NHS England in 2017 state that all Walk-In Centres cannot continue in their current form from 31 December 2019. An extension to the Walk-In Centre contract was granted by NHS England until 30 June 2020.

To decide how the services should be provided going forward, we need input from the community, service users, healthcare professionals, local authority and other key stakeholders.

Have you used Soho Walk-In Centre in the last 12 months? Tell us about it!

We would like to hear about your current experience of using the Soho Walk-In Centre service. This will help us further understand how people are using the service and what the health care needs of Walk-In Centre patients are. If you'd like to share your experience, please email us at clccg.sohowic@nhs.net. We will be releasing an updated online survey that you can also fill out. You will be able to receive a hard copy of the feedback form (with freepost envelope included). To get hold of this once it is published, contact us at:
