Brent, Central London, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and West London Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have merged as of 1 April 2021 to form North West London CCG. Brent, Central London, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and West London Clinical Commissioning Groups is transferring to the new CCG – North West London Clinical Commissioning Group on 1 April 2021. The new Clinical Commissioning Group will become the new data controller.

Self-care

Your self care kit

Self-care can be the best choice to treat very minor illnesses and injuries. A range of common winter illnesses and injuries can be treated at home simply by combining a well-stocked medicine cabinet with plenty of rest.

Make sure that your medicine cabinet out of the reach of children and is well stocked with: 

Self care plaster

  • Paracetamol and/or ibuprofen
  • Child paracetamol or ibuprofen syrups e.g. Calpol
  • A thermometer
  • Tweezers
  • Scissors
  • Selection of plasters
  • Elastic bandages and dressings
  • Mild antiseptic wipes/spray
  • Antihistamines (hayfever tablets)
  • Travel sickness tables
  • Aspirin (not for under 16yrs)
  • Rehydration mixture
  • Anti-diarrhoea medicine
  • Plasters
  • Indigestion remedy

Watch out for expiry dates; don’t  keep medicines after their expiry date.
